In this course, I teach YOU exactly how to land a competitive remote career with the exact system I used to land my remote job in just 7 days after quitting my competitive managerial position in marketing!!
Here's my story:
💜 So, I was a recent college grad and like many others, I entered the workforce immediately feeling super eager and ready to excel in my new 'grown up' career. I was excited to have a job that allowed me to get an apartment in my name and buy things without first needing to check my bank account LOL (well I still did out of habit and because I'd soon realize my check wouldn't go very far after paying 'grown up' bills.)
💚 I didn't really think much into my career counselor's guidance about if my job would be a 'good fit' just a few months prior when I was meeting with her to secure the position. Or if it was something I could actually build a real life around. You know, the type of life the allows for strong personal relationships and happiness because you're not completely wiped out at the end every week after working.
💜 I felt fortunate, not only because I was able to find employment so soon after graduating (yay! I actually get to use my degree), but also because it was what I thought to be my "dream job" at the time. Plus, and most importantly to me, my family was proud of me. No one in my family had ever had an opportunity like the one I had. I really felt obligated to succeed.
💚 So, now I'm in the job and I soon find myself on a plane traveling back and forth between Georgia and Virginia weekly. My job as a marketing representative called for me to travel to my 100 clients quarterly and hold business meetings. I also had to travel with other reps to their territories.
(If you'd like to know, I went to Omaha a few times, Arizona, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, New Jersey.. I traveled ever week for a year straight.)
💜 There were perks, too! I had a company car, a bunch of skymiles, and enough Hilton Honors points for at least a half dozen free stays. It was great!... at first.
💚 But if course, the dust eventually settled and things weren't so shiny and new anymore. I realized things really weren't so great. I never had time for my family and friends - let alone myself! My phone never stopped ringing, and there was always an urgent email sitting in my inbox. I felt like I was working just to work. I was miserable! But I didn't dare leave because I thought it was the only way to get my bills paid and because, well, life's expensive!
💜 Then, one day while in conversation, I was informed about a friend of a friend who worked remotely. Not just from home, but while traveling the world. She went where she wanted when she wanted, and she didn't need to consult with a manager to get approval first. When she wanted to take off somewhere, she did just that because her work traveled with her.
💚 That sounded like gold to me, but it didn't seem possible for myself. It didn't even apply to me, I thought, because that's only for 'special' people. I knew there were people who worked from home, but I thought it was only for writers, digital assistants, or call center reps. And I certainly didn't think there was an abundance of those opportunities.
💜 I was WRONG! REALLY, REALLY WRONG. It's not limited to those few professions! There's an entire professional remote workforce out there with plenty of opportunities and I wanted - no needed - to join ASAP! So, I updated my cover letter & resume, put myself out there, and wound up landing a professional, remote career of my own.
💚 Best of all, I didn't take a pay cut. Best, best of all, no more commuting! Seriously, Atlanta traffic gives me a migraine.
💜 It's been almost 3 years now and me and remote work are still going strong 😉 So strong, that I've been able to successfully teach hundreds of fed up workers, no matter their education or skill level, how to start making money from the comfort of their home, too. Want to be next?
